The Coldplay frontman and the Game of Thrones alum are reportedly dating, according to a new insider account at Us Weekly.
“They have gone out on a few dates in London,” a source told the outlet. “It is still very new, but they have a lot of chemistry, and there’s a definite spark between them.”
According to this same source, the two allegedly “met years ago in passing” because they had “mutual friends in the music industry.”

Turner was notably connected to the industry for quite some time, given that she dated Jonas Brothers frontman Joe Jonas from 2016 until 2023. They were married for four years, until Jonas filed for divorce, prompting Turner to subsequently sue him, claiming that he “wrongfully retained” their daughters in the U.S.—a case that was eventually dismissed. They then finalized their divorce in September 2024.
Most recently, she was linked to English aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, who she began dating in late 2023. This past August, Turner even ignited engagement rumors when she was spotted with a ring on that finger. However, neither of them ever spoke publicly about the sparkler, and now it seems they may have called it quits.
Meanwhile, Martin was previously linked to events producer Lily Sobhani, and actors Annabelle Wallis and Dakota Johnson. He was also married to Gwyneth Paltrow from 2003 to 2016, and they share two children together: Apple, 21, and Moses, 19.
Before their friendship began, Turner was apparently a longtime fan of Martin and his band. When she was still in a relationship with Jonas, he even gifted her with a surprise video message from Martin.
In the clip, shared by The Daily Mail, Martin is seen wishing Turner a happy birthday. “This is Chris from Coldplay,” he says. “I wanted to say on behalf of me and the even more handsome members of our band, I hope you are having the best day. I send you all my love and I hope you’re having a great time. Thanks for being awesome, bye.”
Now, that friendly connection is seemingly turning into something more.
