Mel C became one of the celebrities that grabbed attention after marrying producer Chris Dingwall. Reported by eonline.com, the Spice Girls member known as Sporty Spice first legally tied the knot in Australia, Dingwall’s hometown. Subsequently, she held a wedding party in Cumbria, England on July 18, 2026. In this moment, Mel C wore a gown designed by Victoria Beckham, her fellow Spice Girls member, who also loaned one of her dresses as part of the “something borrowed” wedding tradition.
“I happened to have that exact dress in my own wardrobe and offered to lend it to her,” said Victoria.
In an interview with British Vogue, Mel C revealed that she and Dingwall first met through the Raya dating app about three years ago. She said that she immediately felt a connection when she met Dingwall in Australia.
