Ousted CBS anchor Josh Elliott and “Eyewitness News” anchor Liz Cho’s messy divorce battle included a blowout fight — over grapes, according to his court filings obtained by Page Six on Thursday.
The latter allegedly once yelled at her ex for packing the snack in his daughter Sarina’s school lunch, per the filings.
The journalists, notably, each have a daughter from a previous relationship.
Cho allegedly “lash[ed] out” at Elliott “while he was washing grapes for his daughter’s lunch, exclaiming that the grapes were hers and he was not permitted to put them in the child’s lunch.”
The argument took place “within earshot of the child,” per the docs, which were filed by Elliott’s attorney in January.
Elliott, 54, also accused his estranged spouse of “locking doors and shutting off lights on [his] teenage daughter in the evening when it was 14 degrees outside.”
Additionally, he alleged Cho “monitor[ed] and listen[ed] to [his] private phone calls,” “rifl[ed] through [his] personal belongings and closet” and “engag[ed] in a consistent pattern of false accusations and manufactured crisis.”
Elliott also claimed the 55-year-old left their Weston, Connecticut, mansion “for extended periods without communication despite the presence of two dogs requiring daily care.”
Reps for Elliott and Cho have yet to respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
We broke the news last month that Elliott had filed to end his and Cho’s decade-long marriage in June 2025.
The split took a contentious turn five months later when Cho requested copies of Elliott’s communication with “any person … with whom [he] has or has had a romantic and/or sexual relationship, from July 11, 2015, to the present” — as well as any “communications in connection with [his] search for any employment.” Elliott’s latest claims come from his objection to that motion.
She also demanded “copies of all monthly checking account statements” and “all documents which reflect [his] travel, personal and business,” all of which Elliott objected to.
A source insisted to Page Six that it “is standard in a divorce” to do “a thorough document request,” adding that there is no evidence Elliott had a relationship with anyone outside of the marriage.
in January of the following year, Cho filed a motion of contempt against Elliott — while they both continued to reside in their home.
She accused her ex, who we hear is back on the dating scene, of moving their dogs, as well as a “significant amount of furniture and furnishings,” from the residence when she was away on vacation.
Cho also alleged Elliott was in possession of “a valuable watch and earrings from her jewelry bag.”
He denied the “false and inflammatory” statements in a subsequent filing, claiming to have taken a “limited” number of items while “removing himself and his child from a hostile environment.”
The case remains ongoing, with their most recent court hearing taking place on March 20.
The pair tied the knot in July 2015.
Cho was previously married to Evan Gottlieb, with whom she welcomed daughter Louisa in 2007, five years before their divorce.
As for Elliott, he shares Sarina with ex-wife Priya Narang.
