The Celebrity Equinox sailed from Santos earlier this week for a new edition of the “Dave Koz & Friends at Sea” theme cruise.
Sailing in South America for the first time, the eight-night voyage departed from the Brazilian port on March 22, 2026.
As part of the music cruise, the Celebrity vessel is set to offer a cruise that features visits to destinations in Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.
Before ending in Buenos Aires, the itinerary included an overnight call to Rio de Janeiro, in addition to stops in Ilhabela and Montevideo.
Onboard, guests will enjoy a lineup highlighted by over 150 artists, such as Dave Koz, Adrian Crutchfield, Andréa Lisa, Ashling Cole, Adam Hawley and Avery Sunshine.
In addition to music concerts, the sold-out theme cruise also features a series of special activities, such as autograph sessions, formal nights, panel discussions and a cooking class with Dave Koz.
Upon completion of the “Dave Koz & Friends at Sea” sailing, the Celebrity Equinox embarks on a repositioning voyage to the Mediterranean.
Sailing from Buenos Aires, the 2,850-passenger ship offers a trans-Atlantic crossing that will end in Barcelona, Spain.
Marking the end of Celebrity’s 2025-26 season in South America, the 17-night cruise features visits to Rio de Janeiro and Salvador in Brazil, as well as Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Málaga and Cádiz in Spain.
Returning to the region after a two-year hiatus, Celebrity offered a series of voyages to Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego and Antarctica.
Sailing from Buenos Aires, the itineraries in South America featured visits to a range of destinations, including Puerto Madryn and Ushuaia in Argentina and Port Stanley in the Falklands.
The company is now set to return to South America for the 2026-27 winter season with the Celebrity Equinox.
The 2009-built vessel is also scheduled to operate a third consecutive deployment in the region in 2027-28.
