Contemporary100 is bringing the thrill of trading cards to the art world with the launch of Contemporary [Trading Cards], a new collectible platform featuring 100 contemporary artists from around the globe.
Launching exclusively through Contemporary100.com on July 28, the inaugural 2026 Collection reimagines the traditional trading card as an accessible way to discover and collect contemporary art. Each randomized pack contains 10 cards, including nine Base Cards, one Foil Card and the possibility of pulling a one-of-one card signed by the featured artist.
The first collection brings together artists working across painting, sculpture, photography, installation, digital art, performance and public art. Daniel Arsham, Felipe Pantone, Hebru Brantley, Tyrrell Winston, Joshua Vides, Stickymonger, Vhils, Josh Sperling, Gina Beavers, Ludovic Nkoth, Johnson Tsang, Brooke DiDonato and Joseph Lee are among the artists included in the lineup.

Although artists have previously experimented with trading cards through individual projects and limited collaborations, Contemporary [Trading Cards] positions itself as the first platform to unite 100 artists within a single collectible ecosystem. Each card is designed to function as both a collectible object and an introduction to the artist’s work, offering an alternative to acquiring original pieces that are often limited by price and availability.

Future collections will introduce additional artworks, chase cards, limited editions, collaborations and community activations. Contemporary [Trading Cards] launches July 28, with single packs priced at $49.99 USD, three packs at $129.99 USD and ten packs at $399.99 USD.
