Investigation Discovery is unpacking some of Hollywood’s biggest scandals and crimes in the new six-part series Hollywood Demons, beginning with the alleged crimes committed by former 7th Heaven star Stephen Collins.
Collins, who famously played the respected patriarch Reverend Eric Camden on the WB series, was outed as a child predator in 2014 after his estranged wife leaked a recording of him confessing to sexually assaulting three underaged girls. Collins was never charged.
The first episode of the series is a two-hour special dedicated to Collins’ alleged crimes, featuring evidence and accounts from those who knew Collins, including the 7th Heaven cast. April Price, one of Collins’ alleged victims, is coming forward for the first time in a tell-all interview featured in Hollywood Demons.
In her account, Price says she had a series of encounters with the actor in 1983 when she was just 13 years old and living next door to him in Los Angeles.
Collins’ former co-star Jeremy London initially defends the actor in the documentary series, saying the allegations made his “blood boil,” until he listened to the actor’s recorded confession.
“Its tough. It’s hard. I’m a dad, first and foremost, above everything else. And so my first thoughts always go to the children. Stephen Collins would be a dead man if that was my child,” London says in the doc, per The Hollywood Reporter.

The first of six episodes of Hollywood Demons premiered on Investigation Discovery yesterday (March 24), and is now available to stream on Max and Sling TV.
New episodes will premiere every Monday on the network, so the next one is dropping Monday, March 31 at 9/8c on Investigation Discovery. New episodes will air Mondays at 9/8c through April 28, when the final episode, titled “Stalking the Stars,” drops.
