Rumor is Taylor Swift may host her wedding at her RI home

Following Taylor Swift’s engagement announcement last month, the internet has seen a lot of buzz around where the popstar’s wedding will take place, with Rhode Island being one of the possible locations mentioned.

In fact, Realtor.com columnist Kelsi Karruli reports that Swift and Kelce have chosen the singer’s Watch Hill mansion for a wedding next summer. Known as “Holiday House,” the oceanside estate has been the site of various lavish parties full of famous celebrity guests since Swift purchased it in 2013, making it an obvious choice to host another A-list celebration.

While every Rhode Islander holds their breath hoping for Swift to confirm an Ocean State wedding, here’s a look back at all of the celebrities who have visited Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island house over the years.

Here’s a list of celebrities who have attended parties at Taylor Swift’s mansion in Watch Hill over the years, in order of when they visited:

Emma Stone

While no account of the celebrity guest list at Swift’s 2013 party exists, the second-annual Fourth of July bash in 2014 included her close friend Emma Stone.

Andrew Garfield

Andrew Garfield accompanied his then-girlfriend Emma Stone to Swift’s 2014 bash. It is believed that Swift’s song “When Emma Falls in Love” is about their relationship.

Lena Dunham

Writer, director and actress Lena Dunham joined the festivities in 2014. While Dunham never attended a Rhode Island party after 2014, she remains friends with Swift, attending the Eras Tour in 2024.

Ingrid Michaelson

Singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson was also present at the 2014 bash, fresh off her success from her hit single “Girls Chase Boys.”

Odeya Rush

Swift invited Odeya Rush, her co-star from “The Giver,” to party at the Rhode Island mansion in 2014.

Jessica Szohr

“Gossip Girl” actress Jessica Szohr celebrated the Fourth of July with Swift in 2014.

Jaime King

Taymerica 2014 was also attended by actress and model Jaime King. While King named Swift the godmother of her son Leo in 2015, the two reportedly no longer speak.

Supermodel Jessica Stam rounded out the group in 2014, captioning an Instagram picture with Swift and Szhor “Poolside with the girls xo.”

Gigi Hadid

In 2015, Swift added a few celebrities to the guest list for her Fourth of July party, including longtime friend and model Gigi Hadid. Hadid also attended the holiday party the following year, later enjoying a private getaway at Holiday House with boyfriend Bradley Cooper in October 2023.

Joe Jonas

Joe Jonas joined then-girlfriend Gigi Hadid at the 2015 festivities. The Jonas brother briefly dated Taylor Swift back in 2008.

Nick Jonas

Nick Jonas was present at Swift’s 2015 Independence Day bash alongside his brother.

Martha Hunt

Martha Hunt, who is a Victoria’s Secret model alongside Hadid, joined Swift’s Independence Day parties in 2015 and 2016.

The Haim sisters

Swift’s longtime best friends Danielle, Este and Alana Haim – who make up the band Haim – first visited Swift’s Watch Hill mansion for July 4, 2015. The sisters returned for the holiday parties in 2016 and 2023. Haim and Taylor Swift have collaborated on the songs “Gasoline” and “no body, no crime.”

Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran, who has collaborated with Swift on songs like “Everything Has Changed,” “End Game” and “Run,” joined the group at the 2015 party, which served as his first official date with his wife Cherry Seaborn. The couple returned for the holiday party in 2016, where Sheeran and Swift sang a duet of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You.”

Calvin Harris

DJ and producer Calvin Harris, who dated Swift for around a year, was also present at the Rhode Island Independence Day bash in 2015. At the time, Swift posted a photo to Instagram of her and Harris relaxing in the pool on an inflatable swan, captioning it “Swan goals.”

Serayah

Actress, model and singer Serayah joined the talented group of celebrity guests at Swift’s home in July 2015.

Austin Swift and Brit Maack LaManna

While not celebrities, Swift’s brother Austin and childhood friend Brit Maack LaManna were also at the Fourth party in 2015. Maack LaManna returned for the festivities with her husband Benjamin LaManna in 2016.

Blake Lively

Swift’s Fourth of July party in 2016 – arguably her biggest and most star-studded celebration of the holiday – was the first time actress Blake Lively visited the singer’s Rhode Island mansion. Lively returned to Holiday House in August 2024, when Swift threw her a birthday party. The pair are reportedly no longer friends after Swift was pulled into in Lively’s long legal battle with actor Justin Baldoni.

Ryan Reynolds

Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds joined Lively in Watch Hill in 2016 and again in 2024. Lively and Reynold’s four kids, who are Swift’s godchildren, were also in attendance in 2024.

Cara Delevingne

Model and actress Cara Delevigne joined the Independence Day tradition in 2016.

Halston Sage

Halston Sage, who starred alongside Delevigne in the movie “Paper Towns,” was also present at the 2016 party.

Ruby Rose

Ruby Rose, Australian model and actress, was also present at the Taymerica 2016 bash. She was joined by then-girlfriend Harley Gusman, an entrepeneur and model.

Uzo Aduba

Uzo Aduba, Rose’s co-star from “Orange is the New Black,” joined the Watch Hill festivities in 2016.

Karlie Kloss

Former Victoria’s Secret angel Karlie Kloss rounded out the group of models at Swift’s Rhode Island party in 2016. Kloss and Swift have famously had a falling out since then, with many fans believing Swift’s song lyrics reference a betrayal on Kloss’ side.

Tom Hiddleston

Swift’s ex-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston cuddled up with her at her 2016 Independence Day party. The actor famously wore a tank top that said “I [heart] TS” during a swim in the ocean, with photos of the outfit going viral.

Abigail Anderson Berard

Taylor Swift’s childhood best friend Abigail Anderson Berard, who Swift sings about in “Fifteen,” celebrated the Fourth of July in Rhode Island in 2016. The pair enjoyed karaoke together, with Berard posting a photo of the two singing a Spice Girls song.
