Watch Taylor Swift Absolutely Lose It Over Selena Gomez’s Wedding Look

Taylor Swift couldn’t get enough of her longtime friend Selena Gomez‘s bridal look.

Gomez, 33 — who married music producer Benny Blanco on Sept. 27 — congratulated Swift, 35, on her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, alongside an unseen video, plus two photos of the pair at her nuptials in Santa Barbara, Calif., in an Instagram post on Monday, Oct. 6.

“In honor of SHOWGIRL .. blessed to have you by my side almost 20 years later gator! I love you @taylorswift forever and always,” the Only Murders in the Building Star wrote in the caption.

The first video shows Gomez in her tented getting-ready suite, wearing a white slip dress and veil. Sitting beside her is Swift, who wore a sparkly floral gown and her signature red lipstick.

“Are you even serious?” Swift asks as she holds her phone and zooms in on Gomez, who laughs. “What? Look at her. Oh, my God! Oh, my God!”

“I’m so happy,” Gomez says. “I’m getting married. Finally!”

Gomez shared two additional behind-the-scenes photos with Swift, including them sharing a sweet hug underneath twinkling string lights and sipping on chilled drinks. She also posted a screenshot of Swift’s new song “The Fate of Ophelia.”

Earlier in the day, the “Opalite” singer opened up about her experience attending Gomez’s wedding during her appearance on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up. The pop superstar gushed that Gomez was the “most beautiful” bride as she said “I do.”

“Not just the most beautiful bride,” Swift then clarified. “Just like the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”

Noting that she’s thrilled for her friends “when they find happiness,” Swift added of Gomez, “[I’m] just so happy, and she deserves it so much. And you only wish that for people, you know?”

A source previously confirmed to PEOPLE that Swift and Ed Sheeran, 34, both gave speeches during Gomez and Blanco’s wedding reception.

Swift hinted early on that she was invited to the wedding, having previously joked that she’d partake in the procession as “the flower girl” after Gomez announced her engagement on Dec. 11, 2024.

Swift and Gomez became “best friends” after they dated Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas, respectively, as teenagers.

“I like to say the best thing we got out of those relationships was each other because it was really sweet,” Gomez said on the Aug. 7 episode of the Therapuss with Jake Shane podcast, later adding, “We just stuck around for all the ups and downs that came after and here we are now 16 years later.”
