This one-stop shop luxury startup is one of India’s fastest-growing ultra-premium mobility and lifestyle brands for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, built around the idea that luxury transportation should be as accessible as booking a hotel room online.

    Founded in 2016 by Raaghav Belavadi, the company began as a luxury car rental platform in Bangalore before rapidly expanding into private jets, yachts, helicopters, concierge services, and international luxury experiences.

    The idea behind Hype Luxury emerged when Belavadi noticed a gap in India’s luxury mobility industry. Wealthy travelers, celebrities, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals often struggled to find reliable platforms for renting luxury vehicles and premium transport services. Traditional car rental businesses focused mostly on economy transportation, while luxury services were fragmented and difficult to access. Belavadi envisioned a digital-first company that could connect elite customers with luxury experiences through one seamless platform.

    When Hype Luxury launched in 2016, its initial focus was on high-end cars such as Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Jaguar, and Audi. Customers could rent these vehicles for weddings, business meetings, vacations, celebrity appearances, music videos, or luxury road trips. What made the company stand out was its technology-driven booking system and its ability to aggregate luxury assets rather than own every vehicle directly. This “asset-light” business model allowed Hype Luxury to scale quickly across India without the enormous financial burden of maintaining a massive fleet.

    The company’s headquarters remains in Bangalore, although it has expanded internationally with operational hubs in cities such as Dubai and London. According to company reports, Hype Luxury now serves clients in over 20 countries and operates in more than 23 Indian cities.

    In the U.S., the company has three major hubs–Los Angeles, Manhattan and Miami–which each offer a slightly different flavor of luxury. Company founder Belavadi says, “As you’d expect, the US has the largest range of supercars in the world with clients leaning towards Rolls Royces, Bentleys, Ferraris, Lamborghinis and McLarens.” Miami boasts over 100 yachts on offer, while supercar fans opt for topless vehicles like the Rolls Royce Dawn or the Ferrari 488 Spider. In L.A., “Hype offers a large range of private jets, and pretty much the full range of Rolls Royces, Bentleys and Italian exotics,” says Belavadi, while in Manhattan, chauffeur-driven limousines are a staple diet for many wealthy individuals, so Hype Luxury gives clients an option of Cadillac, Maybach and GMC luxury SUVs, in addition to bullet-proof vehicles with armed security.

    The company offers 21,000 jets, 34,000 luxury cars, and 2,600 yachts

    One of the biggest reasons for the company’s rise has been its ability to diversify beyond luxury cars. As demand for elite travel experiences increased after the pandemic, Hype Luxury entered the aviation and marine sectors. Today, customers can book private jets, helicopters, and luxury yachts directly through the platform. Hype’s company site says it has access to more than 21,000 private jets, 18,000 helicopters, 34,000 luxury cars, and over 2,600 yachts worldwide.

    Hype Luxury’s private jet services are among its most premium offerings. Clients can charter aircraft for domestic or international travel with customized catering, onboard entertainment, luxury lounges, and concierge arrangements. Aircraft available reportedly include models such as the Boeing business jet, Gulfstream G700, Bombardier Challenger, Dassault Falcon and even Honda Jet. Prices for private jet rentals vary significantly depending on the aircraft type and route.

    The company’s yacht division has also become highly popular among wealthy travelers looking for luxury experiences in Goa, Dubai, Monaco, and the Maldives. Hype Luxury offers yachts such as Azimut, Ferretti, Sea Ray, and Majesty models for private parties, sunset cruises, weddings, and corporate events.

    Luxury car rentals remain the foundation of Hype Luxury’s business. Exotic supercars such as Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Rolls-Royces and Bentleys can range vary in price depending on the city and model. The company also offers chauffeur services, wedding packages, VIP security coordination, airport transfers, and personalized travel planning.

    As the company expanded globally, it also entered the world of hypercars and exclusive international experiences. In 2026, Hype Luxury announced elite self-drive experiences in Monaco, allowing ultra-high-net-worth clients to rent vehicles such as the Pagani Huayra and Zonda R, and Bugatti Chiron. These experiences target billionaires and elite travelers seeking rare automotive adventures across Monte Carlo and the French Riviera.

    Another major milestone for the brand came when well-known Indian actor and producer Suniel Shetty became associated with the company as a brand ambassador. The collaboration helped strengthen Hype Luxury’s image in India’s celebrity and luxury markets.

    In recent years, the company has also focused heavily on technology and concierge personalization. Customers can book luxury assets online, receive live availability updates, and customize travel itineraries through digital platforms.
