Taylor Swift went lacy for her second date night look of the week, stepping out with fiancé Travis Kelce in New York City on Thursday evening.
The “Fate of Ophelia” singer styled a Louis Vuitton top and skirt with a pair of Rose Lace Tights from Fleur du Mal ($78) for a chic autumn look.
In all black, the singer styled the French fashion house’s Chain Sweater with the Double Face Mini Wrap Skirt ($2,750), Legacy Boots ($1,940) and the Coussin PM Bag ($4,300). On her wrist were the new Cartier Love Unlimited Bracelet ($9,400) and a diamond bracelet from 100 Ways ($2,140).
For their second night out in a row in NYC, Swift chose a classic all-black look, keeping her attire classic and understated, similar to the evening before.
That said, she traded her menswear trousers for lacy tights, making for a much more festive and feminine outfit choice for her evening out at Zero Bond.
Kelce threw a bit of color into the mix, wearing a matching burgundy cargo pants and a track jacket, both in rich corduroy. He wore a plain black T-shirt underneath.
Kelce’s look was from his own collaboration with American Eagle, AE x Tru Kolors, which was released at the end of the summer.
The NFL tight end rocked the Corduroy Full-Zip Mechanic Jacket and Relaxed Corduroy Cargo Pants, both still available to shop. He continues to be an excellent ambassador for the collection.
The athlete is currently on his bye week, giving him plenty of time to experience the best of New York with his wife-to-be.
Swift has been playing it cool with her wardrobe choices lately, a vast contrast to her on-stage “Showgirl” persona.
While red carpets might bring a little more sparkle to the 35-year-old’s fashion choices, it’s refreshing to see her leaning into more subdued and wearable trends of fall.
Bejeweled or not, she can still make the whole place shimmer.
