Small Luxury Hotels of the World has named Stein Eriksen Residences as the winner of its Country House Hotel of the Year at the 2025 SLH Awards, hosted in Tokyo on Friday, Oct. 17.
“On behalf of our Stein Eriksen Residences team, we are proud to be named Country House Hotel of the Year in this year’s SLH Awards,” said Russ Olsen, president and CEO of Stein Collection. “Being among more than 600 luxury hotel destinations in the SLH community, we are honored to be recognized for our distinctive guest experience that raises the bar for the luxury travel industry.”
Stein Eriksen Residences cited its vistas and “indulgent alpine living” as reasons for the win.
Accommodations from around the world were honored in 12 award categories, with winners selected through criteria that relied on a mixture of guest feedback, hotel sustainability, quality assurance inspections and engagement with the Small Luxury Hotels brand.
Now in its 35th year, the Small Luxury Hotels portfolio includes more than 650 luxury boutique hotels across 90 countries, the company said. The international conference in Tokyo brought together hoteliers, corporate partners, travel media and industry luminaries from around the world, culminating with an award ceremony where a selection of properties were celebrated.
