The trio, who have been friends ever since they crossed paths in October 2022, have seemingly parted ways with online speculations claiming that it was due to Gomez’s inappropriate behavior towards Peltz’s husband.

On October 27, an unverified celebrity gossip account on X (formerly Twitter) posted that the “People You Know” singer and Nicola Peltz have ended their long-term friendship after she “allegedly tried to seduce and liked a shipper account of Nicola’s husband, Brooklyn Beckham.”
While the account titled Selena Gomez Update mentioned that several “reliable sources” have reported this development, it failed to provide any evidence to support the accusations leveled against Gomez.
A recent report from Entertainment Tonight also talked about the apparent feud between Selena Gomez and the Beckham couple, Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz. However, the update did not fault her for the fallout and instead stated that “they all had fun together for a while, but the friendship eventually faded. Brooklyn and Nicola weren’t invited to Selena’s wedding, and didn’t expect to be.”
Meanwhile, a People source reported earlier this month that even though the trio has grown apart, it isn’t due to the wrongdoings of a single person, which nullifies the aforementioned X update. The insider noted, “There’s no bad blood. Relationships evolve, and it’s true they’re not as close as they once were, but there wasn’t any one thing that happened. There’s nothing but love and well wishes from them for Selena and Benny.”
Selena Gomez was noticeably absent from Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s vow renewal in August 2025, prompting many to think that her relationship with the pair had soured over time. In addition, they also skipped the Only Murders in the Building star’s wedding to Benny Blanco, adding further fuel to the fire.
At the time of writing, neither Gomez nor Peltz has come out to provide an official statement regarding the status of their friendship.
