See the Celebrities at the MTV Award Show

Some of the entertainment world’s biggest stars are lighting up the red carpet at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards.

The award show, which honors a slew of the hottest performers, will be live from New York’s UBS Arena, where celebrities are already showing off daring looks on the red carpet.

The one-hour pre-show begins at 7 p.m. ET before the main event starts at 8 p.m. ET.

LL Cool J will be hosting this year’s show, and Mariah Carey is set to perform and receive the Video Vanguard Award. Ricky Martin will also perform and receive the Latin Icon Award. Other performers include Conan Gray, Jelly Roll, Post Malone, Tate McRae and Lady Gaga.

Some of the presenters are “The Hunting Wives” stars Malin Åkerman and Brittany Snow; Ashlee Simpson Ross; EJAE, REI AMI and Audrey Nuna of “KPop Demon Hunters”; and Paris Hilton.

Black seems to be the popular color so far on this year’s VMAs red carpet, although there’s also a mix of some white and red. Many of the looks from celebs also include dark, edgy makeup.
