Shortly after introducing the first tri-branded cruise credit cards to help travelers earn more cruise rewards across its three cruise lines, Royal Caribbean Group has unveiled the next step in its plan to deepen loyal passengers’ engagement across its brands. Enhancements coming soon to Silversea’s Venetian Society loyalty program will make it even more appealing for travelers to build status with luxury and expedition cruise line Silversea.
While other cruise lines are making changes that make loyalty feel less rewarding, Royal Caribbean Group is taking a multi-faceted approach to enhancing cruise loyalty to encourage its most loyal passengers to explore more vacation options within its family of cruise brands — Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea.
Earlier this year, the company rolled out Points Choice, a program that offers passengers more flexibility in how they build their loyalty status across its brands. On top of having their loyalty status matched when sailing across the three cruise lines, passengers can now choose to apply the loyalty points they earn for a sailing to the Royal Caribbean Group brand they prefer, regardless of which brand they’re sailing with.
Now, with a revamped Silversea loyalty program, travelers can try the brand’s luxury travel experience and begin building luxury cruise loyalty status with the promise of earlier rewards.

Silversea aims to offer most rewarding loyalty program in luxury cruising
Silversea is enriching its Venetian Society loyalty program with two new tiers and additional perks to offer passengers more ways to earn status, earlier recognition, and meaningful benefits.
“Our Venetian Society members are the heart of Silversea, and this update represents a meaningful step forward in how we recognize and reward their loyalty,” Silversea President Bert Hernandez said in a press release. “With new ways to earn VS Days, earlier recognition, and more rewarding benefits, we’re creating the most rewarding program in luxury cruising, benefitting both longtime members and those just beginning to build their status with us.”

Through an updated program structure, the Venetian Society will recognize members earlier and celebrate more milestones along their journey with the cruise line.
The program will continue to award 1 VS Day for each cruise day sailed, and starting in July 1, members will also be rewarded with:
-
1 VS Day for every day spent on Silversea Land Programs and City Stays
-
1 additional VS Day per cruise day for qualifying solo travelers

New milestone tiers offer access to earlier rewards
To reward members earlier, Silversea is launching two new milestone tiers – 15 VS Days and 50 VS Days. Previously, passengers had to reach 100 VS Days to earn meaningful loyalty benefits. With the addition of the new tiers, loyalty status matching will also be better aligned across Royal Caribbean Group cruise lines.
Select tiers will receive new benefits in addition to what they receive today:
-
15 VS Days: Exclusive one-time welcome offer as a booking benefit
-
50 VS Days: New booking benefit of $150 shipboard credit per member available on new bookings
-
250 VS Days, 350 VS Days, 500 VS Days: Complimentary premium WiFi and priority embarkation, in addition to existing benefits such as complimentary laundry and pressing, 10% booking benefit, and a complimentary cruise starting at the 350 VS Day level
New booking benefits for members with 15 VS Days and 50 VS Days are available now for eligible members, on new bookings only. Onboard benefits will become available for sailings departing on or after July 1, 2026.
