Erika Jayne revealed during the latest episode of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” that she was a victim of domestic violence.
While speaking to Denise Richards about her allegations of domestic violence against ex Aaron Phypers, the Bravolebrity sympathized by sharing her own “recent” experience.
“Not with any of my husbands,” Jayne, 54, told Sutton Stracke and Richards on Thursday’s episode, noting that no one knew until that point and “it’s all water under the bridge.”
Calling the relationship “a lot,” she disclosed, “It happened not too long ago. It had happened more than once, yeah. And then, like, the third time, I was just like, ‘This is not for me.’”
“I’m just going to say one thing, then I’m going to leave it right here,” she continued. “You have no idea how shameful it is to be the mother of a police officer and have to pick up the phone and call 911 and then call your family member and say, ‘I think you should hear this from me first before you hear it from anyone else.’”
Jayne was referencing her only son, Thomas “Tommy” Zizzo Jr., who is a sergeant within the Los Angeles Police Department.
“Look, it stopped at the right time. That’s far and away gone and it is what it is. Life goes on,” she concluded.
In her confessional interview, Jayne further delved into her experience with domestic violence, explaining, “I met someone and it started out fun. There were no expectations of happily ever after or this is my person or any of that bulls–t.
“It was several months after I met this person that it turned into chaos.”
The “Xxpen$ive” singer was previously married to Thomas Zizzo from 1991 to 1996 before she tied the knot with Tom Girardi in 2000. Despite filing for divorce in 2020, they are still legally married.
Jayne has since moved on with John “Shrek” McPhee, whom she began dating July 2025.
Jayne’s confession came as the women reunited with former “Housewife” Richards and discussed her claims against Phypers.
In the show, the “Wild Things” star claimed Phypers had “hit me on the side of my head” just hours after undergoing a facelift and was already recuperating from a boob job.
“That’s when I really knew there’s no hope at ever, ever salvaging this marriage at all,” Richards admitted.
Phypers, 53, filed for divorce from the “Wild Things” star in July after six years of marriage. The two have been in a legal battle ever since.
