Over the years, many famous (or infamous) Oklahomans have constructed mansion homes in the Sooner State, ranging from city penthouses to open ranches.

Between sprawling acreages, marble staircases, in-ground swimming pools and checkered floors, these mansions each hold something unique.

Here’s a peek at some of our favorites.

Frank Lloyd Wright house in Tulsa

An Oklahoma mansion designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, called Westhope, recently sold for $3.56 million, according to Mansion Global. The original listing on 3704 S Birmingham Ave. in Tulsa asked for $7,995,000, listed with an OKC agent, Rob Allen with Sage Sotheby’s International.

This is one of three of Wright’s constructions in Oklahoma. The others are the 19-story Price Tower and the Harold Price Jr. House, both in Bartlesville.

The Tulsa mansion was built for Wright’s cousin, Tulsa Tribune Publisher Richard Lloyd Jones, from 1929 to 1931. The home features five bedrooms and five bathrooms across 10,405 square feet on 1.5 acres.

    Kevin Durant’s former OKC home

An Oklahoma City townhome formerly owned by NBA star Kevin Durant is on the market once more. The Deep Deuce three-story, custom townhome designed by Durant during his time with the Oklahoma City Thunder was first listed on Redfin in May with a starting price the same as his Thunder jersey number – only $35.

Ieasha Larkpor, managing broker for Thunder Team Realty, said the current homeowners didn’t want to put an asking price on the home — instead, they want interested buyers to get with their real estate agent and prepare their own offer for the home.

However, in November, the listing price is now set at $965,000.

    Oklahoma Governor’s Mansion

Completed in 1928 on a budget of $75,000 for its construction and $25,000 for furnishings, the Oklahoma Governor’s Mansion has been home, or a home-away-from-home, for Oklahoma’s highest elected official ever since.

In 2025, the Capitol Preservation Commission unanimously voted to build a new governor’s mansion for $6 million on the grounds where the current historic mansion sits.

    Mike Gundy’s Stillwater mansion

Oklahoma State University’s head football coach Mike Gundy is selling his mansion located south of Stillwater, which is listed on Zillow for $8 million.

The 13,853 square-foot home sits on an 80-acre ranch and includes a backyard pool, a theater room and stocked ponds, among other features.

“It’s too big of a house for two people,” Gundy said in April 2024. “It needs to be for a young family that has a lot of energy and wants to be on a ranch and goof around, have a swimming pool and all that stuff. That’s kind of past my time.”

    See inside the Grisso Mansion

Now off the market, the Seminole Grisso Mansion was previously listed for sale for $1.8 million.

Built in 1926 by local oil baron William Edward “Doc” Grisso, the Zillow listing boasts the 4-bed, 6-bath mansion is fully furnished, and sits on about 11 acres. The property includes a vineyard, 1,600 square-foot garage, an in-ground pool, pool house, gazebos, fountains, statues, courtyard, tennis and basketball courts, lily and koi ponds and an arboretum.

    Toby Keith’s Oklahoma ranch

This 160-acre ranch was owned by legendary country music singer-songwriter Toby Keith, and it served as his last home before he died in February 2024.

The ranch serves not only as the late star’s mansion home, but also as a thoroughbred breeding and training facility with a 7/8-mile racetrack and is where Keith’s race-winning horse Cactus Ridge was bred.

Terry Bradshaw’s former ranch and mansion on the edge of Oklahoma

Though NFL Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw no longer calls this 8,600-square-foot mansion home, having sold it and the 744-acre ranch it sits on in 2023, it was once the setting for the Bradshaw family’s reality show “The Bradshaw Bunch.”

The Thackerville, Oklahoma, property sits along the Red River near the Winstar Casino and features paved roads, fishing lakes, a stable, an arena and other equine facilities.

Historic Overholser Mansion built by ‘Father of Oklahoma City’

This 11,000-square-foot historic home can be found in Oklahoma City’s Heritage Hills neighborhood, and while it is typically open for public tours, the Overholser Mansion is temporarily closed.

Built in 1903 by the “Father of Oklahoma City,” Henry Overholser and his wife Anna Overholser, the home is considered the first mansion to be built in Oklahoma City.

Marland Mansion: Oklahoma’s ‘Palace on the Praire’

Built between 1925 and 1928 at a cost of $5.5 million, the 55-room Marland Mansion consists of 43,561 square feet and is modeled after the Davanzati Palace in Florence, Italy. It is often called the “Palace on the Prairie.”

E.W. Marland, who once controlled a tenth of the world’s oil reserves and founded Marland Oil, also served as a United States Representative and governor of Oklahoma.

He eventually sold the mansion in 1941 to a group of monks, who sold it to a group of nuns, who eventually sold it to the city of Ponca City in 1975.
