Traveling during the off-season was once considered a less desirable, but budget-friendly way to check off your bucket list.

But these days, especially when it comes to cruising, off-season trips are sought-after luxuries promising opportunities to savor popular destinations without overwhelming summer crowds.

Oceania Cruises, the culinary- and destination-focused luxury cruise line owned by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, is leaning into this style of luxury with its newly released 2027–2028 Collection of Voyages.

The collection of more than 230 thoughtfully curated voyages features Oceania Cruises’ most extensive lineup of Europe voyages to date, including the line’s first off-season sailings in the Mediterranean.

Oceania Cruises adds its first winter cruises in the Mediterranean

During the 2027–2028 season, Oceania’s newest ship, Oceania Allura, will sail the line’s first-ever winter season in the Mediterranean. These quiet Mediterranean cruises offer travelers the luxury of experiencing the region during the cooler, less-traveled months of November through March with immersive itineraries that invite passengers to linger longer with in-port overnights.

These winter Mediterranean cruises also present the unique opportunity to sail through the region as festive décor and Europe’s famed holiday markets set its iconic cities aglow.

Additionally, those who want to explore northern Europe can join Oceania Insignia’s farewell tour through the British Isles, Nordic shores, and the Baltic in summer 2027 before the beloved small ship’s retirement in November.

From quiet off-season journeys to sailings that showcase charming destinations at their peak, Oceania Cruises’ entire 2027–2028 Collection of Voyages offers remarkable opportunities to explore the world in small-ship luxury aboard intimate ships sailing diverse itineraries ranging from seven to 96 days across all seven continents.

“Our 2027–2028 Collection of Voyages pairs iconic ports with compelling new discoveries — designed to delight even the most seasoned explorers,” said Oceania Cruises Chief Luxury Officer Jason Montague.
