Lori Loughlin has filed for divorce from Mossimo Giannulli after 28 years of marriage, Page Six can confirm.
The “Full House” alum — who married the fashion designer on Nov. 27, 1997 — filed the paperwork in Los Angeles Superior Court on Sept. 4, citing irreconcilable differences. She listed their date of separation as Aug. 31, 2025.
In the documents, Loughlin confirmed the couple signed a prenuptial agreement on Oct. 28, 1997, a month before their wedding. However, the agreement was amended on Aug. 11, 2015 — five years before they pleaded guilty in the infamous college admissions scandal.
Loughlin requested that properties, assets and debts be split according to their prenup. She also asked for spousal support to be determined at a later date and that her estranged husband cover her attorneys’ fees and costs.
TMZ was the first to report the news.
On Oct. 2, 2025, Page Six confirmed the pair had separated.
“Lori and Mossimo are living apart now,” a rep for Loughlin told us at the time. “There are no legal proceedings underway.”
The exes share two children: daughters Isabella Rose, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26.
Shortly after news of their separation broke, Us Weekly reported there was “no chance” of them getting back together.
“People around Lori and Mossimo have known they have been going through a really hard time in the last year,” a source told the outlet at the time.
“This isn’t a shock to people around them. It has been a rough time for Lori. She is devastated.”
The source claimed the actress initiated the split because she “thought a break could help” their marriage, but they were simply “not on the same page” anymore.
Loughlin, 62, and Giannulli, 63, made headlines in 2019 due to their involvement in a nationwide college admissions scandal.
The following May, they pleaded guilty to paying $500,000 to get their daughters accepted into the University of Southern California as crew recruits — despite not being rowers.
The Hallmark star subsequently served two months in federal prison in Dublin, California, and was released in December 2020. Giannulli completed his five-month federal prison sentence in Lompoc, California, the following April.
The duo’s marriage was reportedly “never the same.”
“The school scandal was a turning point, and they never really connected or recovered their relationship after that,” a source told Us Weekly this past January, adding that Loughlin felt Giannulli “got her involved” in the situation.
“She didn’t fully blame him, but he spearheaded it,” the source claimed, noting that Loughlin “never fully forgave him and never fully got over it.”
Isabella and Olivia have had a “tough” time since their parents’ separation but reportedly chose not to take “sides.”
“They both love their parents and just want them to be happy,” a source told People in October 2025, insisting the girls didn’t feel any “drama or resentment.”
Both Loughlin and Giannulli have been romantically linked to other people since their breakup, as the former was pictured embracing actor James Tupper one day before the separation was revealed.
The Mossimo founder, for his part, has been spotted with much-younger stylist Hannah Harrison on multiple occasions.
