LOS ANGELES (AP) —Reality star and business mogul Kim Kardashian admitted on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that she lacks “a concept of what like certain simple things cost,” specifically confessing that she doesn’t know how much a carton of milk sells for, People reported.
According to Delish, Kardashian, 44, was playing a game with host Alex Cooper during the episode and reflected on her glam budget, estimating her spending on hair and makeup could reach “a million dollars” a year, even as she acknowledged that many of those costs are covered by her television production.
Her comments quickly triggered backlash on social media, with critics labeling her admission as “out of touch” and “peak billionaire,” given rising grocery prices and financial struggles facing many ordinary consumers, Delish said.
Kardashian did not provide a figure for how much she believed a carton of milk costs, and her public relations representatives did not immediately respond to requests from media outlets for comment.
