The future of Perez Hilton’s long-time podcast is in limbo while the celebrity gossip blogger is getting medical care after his recent alarming live stream. His podcast co-host, Chris Booker, confirmed the “all TBD” news of their podcast’s fate in an Instagram update on August 5. The two have been collaborating on The Perez Hilton Podcast with Chris Booker since 2015. It has been a place for the pair to break down trending entertainment news.
There is no news about the podcast ending. But Booker said on Wednesday that it’s still ‘to be determined’ at the moment. He addressed the future of their podcast:
“As for the show (iHeart Podcast and Patreon), it’s all TBD at the moment as our collective focus is on his health. I certainly hope to continue them with my friend when the time is appropriate. I will give updates there when the time is right.”
Booker added that they have been doing the podcast for over a decade and that the response from their listeners and fans has been “resounding.” He said that he is “profoundly sad” for his co-host and his family for the “unimaginable” thing they are going through right now. He noted that Perez Hilton is “very loved” and hopes that he feels that love right now.

Concern grew for Perez Hilton after his disturbing livestream on Tuesday night where he appeared to be covered in blood and was harming himself. The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office confirmed to the press that they received plenty of reports on Tuesday about someone who was “livestreaming acts of self-harm on social media.” Deputies didn’t reveal Perez’s name, but an ambulance and police were seen in his home at the time.
A follow-up statement from the sheriff’s office confirmed that the man they did a welfare check on was “safely recovered” and was taken by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a nearby hospital. Perez Hilton’s family and team shared a statement on his website on Wednesday to confirm that he’s now receiving medical care. They also thanked those who’ve reached out and shared an “outpouring of love” and prayers to the celebrity gossip blogger.
His family also wrote in a more recent update:
“This has been incredibly difficult and emotional for us, made even harder because very little information has been made available to our family. While we continue to wait for further updates, we remain hopeful. We have also been able to confirm that Perez is able to communicate, which has given our family hope.”
Chris Booker also noted the same in his recent Instagram update. Even Perez Hilton’s family reportedly struggles to get updates about him because of the confidentiality security measures at the hospital because a lot of people are trying to get information. He said that he respects the family’s wishes and will not be sharing updates about his podcast co-host. Those updates will be shared through the gossip blogger’s website, as his family mentioned.
