SINGLE soap star Shona McGarty shared her struggles in the jungle after an awkward conversation about marriage proposals.
The EastEnders actress, 34, split from her Irish guitarist fiancé David Bracken before heading Down Under, The Sun previously revealed.
She was reminded of the ordeal in Thursday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity after camp chat turned romantic.
Rapper Aitch revealed: “I’ve been proposed to off a fan, at a meet and greet.
“She got on one knee and I said go on then, put the ring on, gave her a hug and all that it was cute but unfortunately I never saw her again.”
When quizzed by former model Kelly Brook, Aitch said he’d “100%” like to get married.

Kelly shared: “I’d been engaged about five times before I met my husband!”
She shared that her husband Jeremey Parisi “never really proposed”.
“I think he was petrified in the past, that because of all the engagements I’d had that it was the beginning of the end,” Kelly explained.
She told her fellow campmates that she was the one to suggest marriage in the end, with Martin Kemp revealing that his wife Shirlie did the same thing with him.

“I never proposed to her in a way, I was kind of putting it off and putting it off”.
He shared a story of how he was in Dublin and there was an old jeweller, Shirlie “grabbed my collar and dragged me in and said ‘I’ve had my eye on that one’!”
The talk of engagements had left Shona feeling a certain type of way.
As she and Tom Read Wilson went to do the washing up, Shona confided in him that she struggled to be part of the conversation as she’d just gone through a breakup.
Shona shared that she walked away from the conversation because she wouldn’t have known what to say.
Tom said: “I think you’ve done a really sensible thing.” He gave her a pep talk that the right thing would come along at the right time.
Earlier this month The Sun on Sunday revealed that Shona had split from her musician fiancé as she prepared to appear in I’m A Celebrity.
A source said: “They are on amicable terms, but have ended their romantic relationship.
“There are no hard feelings, they realised they wanted different things and are better off as friends. Shona is now focusing on her music and career.”
Shona and David, who lives in Ireland, met on TikTok two years ago and the former Blessed band member proposed during a picnic in Kensington, West London.
Opening up about the proposal to OK magazine, Shona said at the time: “David took me to this beautiful Japanese garden because I love Japanese culture and the spirituality of it.
“He brought a picnic, which was really sweet. It was lovely, I was in my element but I didn’t think he was going to propose.”
It comes after Aitch sparked talk of a potential romance with Shona when he said he had a “soft spot” for her.
While taking a dip in the Aussie camp’s creek, the rapper said: “I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Shona, me.”
His pal and co-star Angry Ginge replied: “I think she’s really nice, if that’s what you mean, yeah…”
Aitch said: “Yeah, that’s what I mean.”
