Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially married. The pop star and Kansas City Chiefs tight end tied the knot Friday night at Madison Square Garden in a star-studded ceremony officiated by actor Adam Sandler, Swift’s publicist Tree Paine confirmed. The news was signaled to fans by a marquee outside the midtown Manhattan arena, which lit up around 7:30 p.m. ET with the message “JUST&T MARRIED!” — a play on the couple’s initials.
The couple wore Christian Dior Haute Couture designed by creative director Jonathan Anderson, according to Paine’s statement, in what the designer called his “first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity.” Their shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and Swift wore Cartier jewelry. They did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen — Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her man of honor, and Travis’s brother, Jason Kelce, served as best man.
Guests began arriving at MSG through the drive-through tent shortly after doors opened at 3 p.m. Friday. Actors Hugh Grant, Elizabeth Banks, Ethan Hawke, Bradley Cooper, Eric Stonestreet, Dakota Johnson, Jessica Chastain, Jason Sudeikis, Zoë Kravitz, Emma Stone, Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Alba, Sacha Baron Cohen, Joey King and Millie Bobby Brown were among those photographed arriving for the main event. Adam Scott shared a photo on Instagram of himself and his wife, Naomi Scott, with Paul Rudd and his wife, Julie Yaeger, captioned “T&T.” Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, Phoebe Dynevor and Liam Hemsworth were also in attendance, according to photos and reports.
Bestie Selena Gomez was of course in attendance — dazzling in gold, the same color Swift wore to Gomez’s wedding to Benny Blanco in 2025 — as were longtime squad members Gigi Hadid and Ashley Avignone.
Models Karlie Kloss (to the surprise of many Swifties), Cara Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse, musicians Machine Gun Kelly and Hayley Kiyoko, singers Ed Sheeran, Fergie, Benson Boone, Ellie Goulding, Jennifer Lopez, Camila Cabello, Ice Spice, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert and Griff, actor Andrew Scott and country stars Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley were also in attendance, along with the country group Little Big Town. Swift’s friend Gracie Abrams, who opened for portions of the bride’s Eras tour, also attended, wearing red.
British TV presenter Graham Norton, whom Swift had jokingly invited during her 2025 appearance on his talk show, also made it in the door, as did British radio host Greg James. Comedian Nikki Glaser shared a photo of herself in a long, lacy black dress, alongside a caption that thanked designers “for dressing me for a ‘black tie comedy gig’. I’m sorry I lied to u,” she joked, referring to the secrecy around attending the wedding. Former soccer star Alex Morgan wrote on Instagram that it was a “magical night.”

Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and Michael Strahan — the anchors of Good Morning America — were all in attendance. Roberts said on the show the Saturday morning after the wedding that it “really was intimate. … They had their neighbors, their high school friends. It was like any wedding that you would attend.”
“It was their dream wedding, and it really was amazing,” Strahan said.
A wedding insider told USA Today that the wedding featured a karaoke station, and singers Sabrina Carpenter and Tate McRae took to the mic.
From the sports world, Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and wife Kelly, Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield and his wife, Emily, Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt, Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, Patriots coach Mike Vrabel and sports broadcasters Charissa Thompson and Joe Buck were spotted arriving. Vanessa and Natalia Bryant, the wife and daughter of basketball legend Kobe Bryant, were in attendance, as was Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and her husband, Indianapolis Colts safety Jonathan Owens.
Kelce’s friend, Chiefs teammate and restaurant business partner Patrick Mahomes and his wife, soccer player and entrepreneur Brittany Mahomes, also took part in the festivities. The couple posted photos of their wedding looks on Instagram following the big event.
Actor Mariska Hargitay and husband, Peter Hermann, author Glennon Doyle and wife Abby Wambach, and TV host and comedian Conan O’Brien and wife Liza Powel O’Brien were also on hand, per People. The Haim sisters — Este, Danielle and Alana — were seen heading into the venue. The dress code for the evening was black tie, according to People.

Swift and Kelce’s guest list also drew a heavy contingent of entertainment industry executives, according to Variety, including Steven Spielberg, Disney CEO Bob Iger, Disney Entertainment co-chair Dana Walden, Universal Music Group chairman Lucian Grainge and AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron (who shared a play-by-play of the wedding on X before deleting it).
Swift’s childhood best friend Abigail Anderson was spotted arriving in a corseted gown, along with Swift’s longtime publicist Paine. Sports broadcasters Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson were also photographed at the venue, as was San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle.

The guest list wouldn’t have been complete without Swift’s Eras tour dancers, many of whom became famous in their own right after becoming familiar faces during the highest-grossing tour of all time and participating in The End of an Era, a six-episode docuseries streaming on Disney+. Among those who showed off their wedding looks: Kam Saunders, Jan Ravnik and Whyley Yoshimura.
Among the first celebrity guests spotted arriving at the rehearsal dinner Thursday evening were Swift’s longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff and his sister, fashion designer Rachel Antonoff, according to People. Actor Lena Dunham was also photographed heading into the arena, along with model Gigi Hadid and actor Bradley Cooper, who arrived together in an SUV.
Dunham, who reportedly gave a speech at the wedding, wrote on Instagram, “Available going forward for weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, and sweet sixteens (gay ones).”
Travis’s mother, Donna Kelce, touched down in New York on Thursday and headed straight to Madison Square Garden, per Backgrid photos published by TMZ. Travis’s childhood best friend Aric Jones was also on the guest list, according to People.
Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw were among the reported performers at the wedding, according to Page Six.
The couple’s guests were required to sign nondisclosure agreements ahead of the event, and phones were reportedly banned inside the arena, according to Variety. Rain began falling in New York shortly after the marriage was announced. Madison Square Garden itself lit up in a pinkish lavender color after the ceremony.
The “Actually Romantic” pop star and the Kansas City Chiefs superstar announced their engagement with a joint Instagram post in August 2025. The couple, who had been dating for two years, garnered more than 37 million likes on their post, which included the caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Swift spoke to Norton about the wedding in October 2025. When asked if she’d keep the wedding intimate, Swift jokingly said that she planned to put “anyone I’ve ever talked to” on the guest list.
“I’m so excited about it,” Swift told Norton. “I know it’s gonna be fun to plan, because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble, and you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there. I’m not gonna do that.”
