Cruz Beckham’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel hit back after a troll questioned their nearly 10-year age gap.
“Why is a 29 year old dating a 20 [sic],” a social media follower commented on Victoria Beckham’s Paris Fashion Week post on Friday, adding that they were “talking about Jackie dating Cruz.”
“That’s just weird,” they wrote under the fashion designer’s photo of husband David and kids Cruz, Romeo and Harper Beckham, along with Apostel and former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
Apostel responded by simply giving her reasons for dating Victoria and David’s third child. “Because he’s kind, funny, smart, caring, driven, mature, talented, loyal, and also quite handsome 🥰,” she wrote.
Some followers responded to Apostel’s comment with support. “I think it’s wonderful, and the very best of luck to both of you 💙🙏🥰” wrote one, while another chimed in, “It’s not weird, it’s called love and it’s none of your business.”
“No it’s not, my husband is 8 years younger than me…I highly recommend it!” remarked a third.
Apostel has been sharing her own moments from Paris Fashion Week — on Friday, she uploaded a photo of herself and Cruz passionately kissing. In other photos, she rocked a stunning strapless black gown with a sculptural bust line.
“What an incredible show and in my favorite dress yet,” she gushed in the caption. “@victoriabeckham 🧡 honoured to witness all of this come to life.”
In another post the same day, she revealed a sweet behind-the-scenes moment with Cruz, as the pair stood side by side at a bathroom vanity and brushed their teeth — with Apostel still wearing the formal gown.
Cruz and Apostel were first romantically linked in June 2024, and they went Instagram official in October 2024.
“I love you,” Cruz wrote atop a pic of her with a birthday cake and surrounded by friends, via Instagram Stories.
In an apparent attempt to close the age gap with a display of physical maturity over the summer, Cruz took to the same platform in August in a pair of skin tight blue Speedos alongside David.
In a snapshot, Cruz spread his legs and looked down at his abs while soaking up the sun on a yacht during an Italy family vacation, as David lounged in black Speedos nearby.
