Brittany Cartwright is hopeful that her and Jax Taylor’s messy divorce will finally come to an end in the upcoming weeks.
The reality star revealed that she is “praying” for her divorce to be finalized by December during a panel for “The Valley” at BravoCon 2025 Friday, per Us Weekly.
Cartwright, 36, went on to claim that Taylor is the one “holding it up,” adding that she has tried for ten years hoping he would change, and that change did not happen.
On a more positive note, she told the crowd that she’s “definitely” getting her “sparkle back” as she enjoys life as a single mom to her and Taylor’s 4-year-old son, Cruz.
Reps for Taylor were not immediately available to Page Six for comment.
During the panel, the “Vanderpump Rules” alum also teased that Season 3 of “The Valley” will be “lighter” and “a lot more fun” since her ex exited the show.
“It was great to not be harassed all season long,” Cartwright continued. “It was nice to have a break and just be able to focus on me and my son. It was a great experience.”
The former couple separated in February 2024. Taylor, 46, was seemingly in denial of their split as he refused to move out of their home, something that Cartwright said she will “never forgive” him for.
The Kentucky native filed for divorce from Taylor in August 2024 after five years of marriage and Cartwright claimed she was met with several obstacles that prevented it from being finalized.
In October 2024, Taylor resubmitted his divorce petition after he made some mistakes in his previous filing while representing himself.
The former model claimed he and his estranged wife were never legally married and gave her full legal and physical custody of their son.
Although Cartwright hasn’t been able to move on with her divorce filing, she has moved on with her dating life.
She was most recently linked to Brandon Hanson after the pair were spotted packing on the PDA during a Mexican getaway in August.
But Cartwright revealed that they broke up and that she is currently single on her her “When Reality Hits” podcast last month.
“We were very good friends before we started dating,” she explained. “It was kind of like a whirlwind relationship. It went into the public way sooner than we ever would have wanted it to.”
The reality star made it clear that she and her now-ex “really cared about each other” and ended “amicably.”
