After over four years of marriage, some reports say Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are experiencing bumps in the road. The couple has reportedly started spending increasing amounts of time apart, leading some to wonder if they’re headed for divorce. Do their social media accounts give any insight into their marriage?

Stefani and Shelton began dating in 2015 after their respective divorces. They married in 2021 and have spoken often about their romance. Lately, though, sources say they haven’t been spending as much time together.
“Gwen and Blake have been spending an awful lot of time apart lately,” an insider told Star Magazine.
Both Shelton and Stefani have stepped away from coaching on The Voice. Some people think the professional distance has impacted their personal lives.
“The Voice was good for their marriage because it bonded them professionally,” the source said. “It’s become a talking point amongst friends and fans that they’re living separate lives. A lot of people think the magic’s started to wear off.”
Some wonder if they’re headed for divorce.
“Truth be told, they’re both so different and it’s starting to become more apparent now,” the source said. “There’s a real fear that the way things are headed, Blake and Gwen could wind up becoming another Hollywood divorce casualty, even though it’s the last thing either of them would want.”

Despite the rumors of the couple living separate lives, they seemed perfectly happy in posts from Halloween. Stefani dressed as Little Red Riding Hood and posted a video with Shelton, who was dressed as the Big Bad Wolf. Throughout the night, they posted Instagram stories of themselves celebrating the holiday with friends.
While Shelton hasn’t posted a photo of Stefani since her birthday on Oct. 3, she recently commented on one of his posts. On Nov. 7, Shelton posted a video of himself singing and playing guitar. Stefani commented, “cute level” with a fire emoji.
Based on their social media accounts, it seems that the couple is closer than reports make them seem.
They have previously spoken about divorce rumors
This is not the first time Shelton and Stefani have been at the center of divorce rumors. They began cropping up as early as 2023. Stefani said that people shouldn’t believe the stories unless they hear them directly from her or Shelton.
“But when you’re in love and have truly aligned values, nobody can get to us. You can say whatever you want to say about our relationship — I mean, a week ago we were getting divorced again or something,” she told Nylon. “It’s just lies. The truth is the truth, and we know what that is. And so that [negativity] would never penetrate just by me being vulnerable and sharing a song that I didn’t write for anybody else but myself and Blake.”
