Timothée Chalamet became a trending topic after landing a Vogue magazine cover for its December issue.
The Wonka star looked dashing in a space-themed photoshoot by highly acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz.
Chalamet debuted his new buzz cut hairstyle, wearing a white turtleneck top paired with denim pants featuring floral embroidery.
Completing the look, the team styled him with a beige longline coat and black boots for a fashion-forward finish.
To commemorate the special moment, the actor also shared the news on his Instagram, thanking the team behind the shoot and giving a little shoutout to his upcoming movie, Marty Supreme.

However, despite some fans congratulating him on his newest magazine cover and swooning over his new hairstyle, most weren’t impressed with the final outcome of the cover.
“omg what an awful cover,” one wrote.
“Wow, that’s … a horrible cover but proud of you!” another added.
“Still love you, Timmy but this cover is a disaster…” a commenter echoed.
Some poked fun and called the Vogue cover “AI-generated.”
“Looking at this cover and outfit, AI may not be a bad thing,” a follower joked.
“Did you use AI?” one asked.
On X, fans gave their brutal opinion and even described it as the “worst cover in Vogue history.”
“This might actually be the worst cover in Vogue history,” a commenter posted.
“One of the worst covers I’ve ever seen. WTF is going on at Vogue? Who edited this mess? So embarrassing,” a social media user noted.
The same goes for a different commenter who said, “The worst cover. A man covers Vogue America (alone, it doesn’t happen often) and this is the cover?????????”
The publication’s December cover will be his second time gracing the front of Vogue.
The first was with British Vogue in 2022, where he made history as the first solo male cover star in its 106-year history.

The Dune star is currently dating Kylie Jenner but during his interview with Vogue US, he politely declined to talk about his romance with the reality star.
“I don’t say that with any fear, I just don’t have anything to say,” he said.
Despite keeping a tight lip regarding the relationship, Chalamet did not shy away from talking about fatherhood and admitted that it “could be on the radar.”
