The owner, who is no longer able to care for his prized vehicles, has decided to auction off his collection, including cars, spares, workshop items and tools, through Charterhouse.
The auction will go live at the Sherborne Salerooms on Wednesday, September 10 at 10am.

A statement from Charterhouse said: “As with many restorers, there is a vast array of spare engines, blocks, gearboxes, other mechanicals, interiors, trim and parts with a great selection of spanners, other hand tools, a lathe, blast cabinet, four post ramp and two motorbikes.

“There are also signs, other wall art, a Bowser petrol pump, a trailer and other items associated with a lifetime of maintaining and restoring about with cars.”

While he successfully restored many to a ‘high standard’, he has decided it is time to pass on his remaining projects to new owners.
