According to the Prince of Wales, nothing is confirmed yet, but he definitely hasn’t ruled it out—or at least it sounds like he’s hoping it hasn’t been ruled out!
During a May 2026 appearance on the U.K.’s Heart Breakfast radio show, William was directly asked whether he had received an invitation. “No comment,” he said with a smile, before adding, “I’m hoping, and I’m sure there might be an invitation around, but we’ll see.”
There’s actually a strong argument for why the Wales family could end up on the guest list. William previously said that his children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis—are huge Taylor Swift fans, and Charlotte, in particular, is “obsessed” with the singer.
Swift has also hinted at just how big this wedding could become. During an October 2025 appearance on The Graham Norton Show, she suggested she prefers large weddings because smaller ones often come with stressful guest-list decisions. “I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble and you have to evaluate or assess your relationship with them to see if they should be there,” she said. “I’m not going to do that.”
So while nothing has been confirmed regarding royal attendance, it’s one of those celebrity-meets-royalty storylines that feels almost too good not to happen. We’ll just have to wait and see if a royal RSVP really comes through.
Have the royals met Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce before?
