Rumours are rife that the celebrity couple’s marriage is heading south after the Deadpool star failed to join his wife at the court-ordered settlement conference in New York City on Wednesday, 11 February. A new blind item claims that Reynolds is trying to save what’s left of his ‘toxic’ brand by distancing himself from his wife’s controversy.

The digital sphere has been set ablaze by claims from TikToker @celebritea.blinds, who alleges that the marriage between Lively and Reynolds is ‘over.’ In its most recent post, @celebritea.blinds points out Reynolds’ conspicuous absence during a mandatory settlement conference involving Lively and her It Ends with Us director, Justin Baldoni.
Baldoni’s wife accompanied him, offering emotional support, while Lively arrived without her husband. The A Simple Favor star faced the gruelling six-hour session entirely alone.
‘Allegations say that Ryan is done with Blake and is only trying to protect what’s left of his brand,’ the report claims.
Additionally, Reynolds and Lively have been seen together publicly less and less. They are reportedly ‘taking separate paths’ to ‘avoid further scrutiny.’
The report referenced a blind item published on Wednesday claiming that ‘The north of the border actor made it pretty clear how his marriage stands to the A- lister. Didn’t even bother to pretend to show her any support today. He just wants to protect the toxic remnants of his brand.’
The blind item was reportedly talking about Reynolds and Lively. @celebritea.blind, however, notes that the report is unverified, so one should take it with a grain of salt.
Divorce Rumours History
The rumours about Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s strained marriage have been going around for years. In July 2024, the Age of Adaline actress clapped back at one Instagram user who spread the speculations that she and her husband ‘got divorced.’

In 2018, another report claimed that they struggled to find ‘quality time together’ due to their busy schedules. It cited an unnamed source who alleged that ‘the distance between them has taken its toll’ in their marriage.
At the time, Reynolds had been spending more time away from home for his movie projects, while Lively had to look after their children.

Lively accused her co-star and the movie director of sexual harassment, inappropriate behaviour, and attempting to destroy her reputation by framing her as someone ‘difficult’ to work with. Baldoni denied Lively’s allegations and fired back by accusing her of creative hijacking, extortion, and defamation.
The settlement conference on Wednesday was unfruitful, as they failed to find common ground and left without a resolution. The civil trial will begin on 18 May.
