Celebrity IOU stars Jonathan and Drew Scott have garnered considerable attention, as the “heart of their success is a rare twin dynamic that viewers love.”
Celebrity IOU episode featuring John Stamos premiered on December 28 at 9 pm ET/PT on HGTV. While talking about how the duo manages to have similar ideas together, the siblings said that they have what people call twin telepathy, saying.
“We can have, essentially, full conversations with barely saying anything,” Jonathan said. Drew confirmed with a laugh: “Definitely that twin telepathy.”
Celebrity IOU duo recall how they “almost got arrested”
Drew and Jonathan Scott recently recalled how they were almost getting arrested while filming the episode of Celebrity IOU starring Full House star John Stamos. While talking about their experience working alongside the actor, Jonathan jokingly said,
“He’s a big kid.“I thought at one point we were going to get arrested because we touched his hair. Do not touch the hair.”
Drew Scott also opened up about how it was to know about the actor’s background, including stories about his “nerdy roots as a nerdy young magician and musician,” adding, “Also, I didn’t know he was a part of the Beach Boys. That to me is amazing.” While praising Stamos, the duo talked about Stamos’ emotional connection to his longtime friend Ken, who was the recipient of the garage renovation, while saying,
“You see a side of him here that I don’t think anybody has ever seen before, which is really sweet,” Jonathan Scott said. “He is just the most grounded, genuine individual, and just a hell of a lot of fun as well.”
In the newest episode titled, “Drums and Demo,” viewers witnessed the bond between Stamos and Ken shared while playing in the band together as they leaned on each other “through divorce and family deaths.” Drew talked about their decades-long friendship, saying,
“With Ken, their relationship dates back to elementary school. Like, they’ve known each other for over 40 years, I think that’s the longest relationship we’ve had for the show. It’s amazing to see the bond.”

Jonathan and Drew Scott opened up about their brand new show, Don’t Hate Your House, while calling it “the most relatable show on television, as the siblings explained,
“We will optimise the floor plan, so you have function and style,” Drew said, noting that pretty renovations don’t matter if a home doesn’t work. We’ll be honest as well,” Jonathan added, admitting they tell homeowners the truth. “Honestly, there is no solution for this house because you physically need more square footage, or whatever it is.”
“Every time someone comes to us and says, ‘I know that there’s no way I can love this house again, I want to move on,’ and we’ll look at it, we’re like, ‘No, I actually think I know a solution for this.’ And you see it in the episode where it’s life-changing for these folks.”
