A luxury boutique hotel is under construction on the Wildwood Boardwalk and expected to open in May or June 2026.
The Wild Resort, currently in mid-construction phase, will occupy approximately 77,000 square feet across five floors directly on the boardwalk.
The hotel at 3000 Boardwalk will feature 75 “meticulously designed guest rooms, each crafted to blend modern comfort with coastal elegance,” according to the developer. “The interiors are inspired by the natural tones and textures of the beach, creating a serene and refined atmosphere.”
The location is at Glenwood Avenue, directly between the two main Morey’s amusement piers.
The property designs include 10 presidential suites featuring private outdoor jacuzzis overlooking the beach.
A rooftop level will have a pool, restaurant and bar with panoramic ocean and boardwalk views.
“The rooftop was designed as a dynamic space that transitions seamlessly from a serene daytime retreat to a lively evening destination,” according to developer Solly Levy Baghdadi. “A place to unwind, dine, and take in Wildwood’s signature sunsets.”
The ground floor, located directly on the boardwalk, will include a full-service Starbucks, It’s Sugar candy store, and a family-owned pizzeria.
“This lively mix will provide guests and visitors with an authentic connection to Wildwood’s iconic Boardwalk culture while maintaining a sense of community and familiarity,” Baghdadi said.
Additional amenities include a fitness center and gift shop featuring Wildwood memorabilia.
The vertical layout of the hotel will ensure that “nearly every guest room and common area enjoys abundant natural light and sweeping ocean views, reinforcing the resort’s connection to the boardwalk and coastal landscape,” Baghdadi said.
Baghdadi described the architecture as a “thoughtful fusion of modern coastal design with subtle nods to Wildwood’s classic aesthetic.”
The structure will feature sleek, contemporary lines, floor-to-ceiling glass accents, and bright coastal tones that “reflect the rhythm and openness of the boardwalk.
Baghdadi cited a personal connection to the project location, noting the property holds special meaning.
“My family spent summers along the Boardwalk and visiting the old bowling alley that once stood on this very site,” he said.
“We’re transforming a piece of Wildwood’s history into a one-of-a-kind, future-forward destination where new generations of families can create their own memories.”
