Have you ever watched Top Chef and wondered what the food tastes like? Well, Shreveport is receiving an exclusive opportunity to do just that this October.
Prize Fest is bringing Top Chef Champion Tristen Epps and fellow celebrity chefs to host the inaugural Celebrity Chef BBQ Takeover. This event will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 17 in the heart of downtown Shreveport.
“We are thrilled to welcome Tristen Epps, the reigning Top Chef champion, alongside our incredible celebrity and local chefs, for a once-in-a-lifetime culinary experience,” said Gregory Kallenberg, founder and executive director of the Prize Foundation.
This is the first-ever Prize Fest Celebrity Chef BBQ Takeover, and Prize Foundation is inviting all to eat, meet and mingle with Top Chef celebrities as they team up with local culinary stars to serve an epic BBQ lunch.
Tickets for this event are $55 in advance and $65 at the door. Each ticket includes a selection of smoked meats (chicken, beef or pork), paired with a side and a dessert.
All food will be crafted by celebrity and local chefs including Niema DiGrazia, Cindy Johnson, Stu Dyson and Hardette Harris.
“Don’t miss this amazing culinary experience,” said Kallenberg.
Tickets are limited to 200 and once they are gone, they are gone.
