The Celebrity Traitors season 2 is officially on the way, and the BBC has confirmed a truly packed cast of 21 famous faces heading back to the Scottish Highlands.
Hosted again by Claudia Winkleman, the show will return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer later in 2026 with ten hour‑long episodes, filmed at Ardross Castle in the Highlands.
The format remains the same: the celebrities will secretly be split into “Traitors” and “Faithfuls”, playing a high‑pressure trust game for up to £100,000 for charity.
Season 1 was a huge hit, pulling in around 15 million viewers for the finale, and ending with Alan Carr winning as a Traitor over David Olusoga and Nick Mohammed, and donating his £87,500 prize to charity.
Because that run was such a success, the BBC has leaned in even harder this time, calling this the biggest celebrity cast to date, with BAFTA and BRIT winners, podcast stars, YouTubers, and some genuinely big‑name actors.
Fans who already know the basic format are trying to guess who will be picked as a Traitor and who will be thrown straight into the fire as a Faithful in The Celebrity Traitors season 2.

Another X user agreed:
“They’re gonna make Rob and Romesh the traitors… to make the whole thing a sleeper episode of Rob and Romesh Vs.”
