Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce May Be Eyeing Luxury Real Estate in Ohio

Rumors are swirling that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce may be scouting for their next home—and this time, it’s not in New York, Nashville, or Beverly Hills. It’s Cleveland.

According to Cleveland Scene, the couple spent part of their visit to the Buckeye State this summer touring “at least two opulent homes currently for sale in Northeast Ohio’s tony Eastside suburbs.” While they were publicly spotted lunching at JoJo’s Bar in Chagrin Falls, multiple sources say the real purpose of the trip may have been more than just a stroll down memory lane.

It wouldn’t be a total surprise. Back in January, Us Weekly reported that the couple had been discussing purchasing a home together, possibly in Kansas City, where Kelce plays for the Chiefs. “They’ve talked about exploring buying a home together,” a source said at the time. And if that’s the case—if the couple is, in fact, eyeing property in Ohio—there are a few estates that would suit this A-list couple perfectly.

Start with Roundwood Manor, a 55,000-square-foot Colonial Revival estate tucked inside the gated Daisy Hill enclave of Hunting Valley. Listed at $3.45 million, it’s one of Ohio’s largest and most storied homes—built in the 1920s for railroad magnates turned real estate barons, the Van Sweringen brothers— and it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2019.

Inside, it’s pure Swiftian fantasy: hand-carved wood paneling, imported Dutch tilework, and a double-height entrance hall capped by a stained-glass skylight. There’s even a sprawling library that could’ve been pulled from Evermore—just add candlelight and a vintage piano. Altogether, it has 14 bedrooms, nine fireplaces, three dining rooms, and a 60-foot indoor pool.

Still, if they’re after a different kind of romance—something with Lake Erie views—another contender awaits in the historic lakefront enclave of Bratenahl. There, a newly restored Gilded Age mansion is asking a speck under $6 million, and it delivers the best of both worlds: old-world glamour, modern ease, and a front-row seat to the water.

Set on 3.5 manicured acres, the estate layers walnut and oak paneling with leaded-glass windows and a marble-floored sunroom glowing beneath an amber skylight. There’s a Control4 smart system, plus a reimagined third floor with a home theater and game room. Below, a wine cellar, poker lounge, and speakeasy-style bar offer space to entertain. Even the original gate house has been converted into a two-bedroom guest cottage—ideal for visiting family or famous friends.

And while the Cleveland area’s median list price is just $139,000, per Realtor.com, that figure doesn’t apply in exclusive suburbs like Hunting Valley and Bratenahl, where homes regularly top $1 million. One estate is currently asking $18 million, with several others listed between $1.75 million and $4.5 million

Of course, settling down in the Forest City would mark a new chapter in both Swift and Kelce’s real estate journeys—but they’re hardly starting from scratch. Kelce’s most recent purchase made headlines in October 2023: a $6 million Kansas City fortress in Leawood, complete with a pool, pickleball court, mini golf course, wine cellar, and 17,000 square feet of living space. Kelce also owns a $995,000 home in Kansas City’s Briarcliff West neighborhood and a Florida condo he picked up in 2019 for $355,000.

Swift, for her part, already maintains an estimated $150 million real estate portfolio, including a $17.75 million Rhode Island beachfront estate and multiple homes in Nashville, New York, and Los Angeles. Adding a countryside escape near Kelce’s hometown wouldn’t be out of character.
