Graduation season is upon us and these celebrity parents are ushering their mini-mes into new beginnings.

Whether it’s kindergarten, high school or college, stars such as Ludacris, Christy Turlington, Gwyneth Paltrow and more are sharing their joy as their kids say goodbye to their old schools and hello to the road ahead. And while all parents are proud that their kids have completed the milestone, graduation can also serve as a reminder that time is moving fast, making the moment extra emotional.

“As a mother and as a parent, this moment feels profound,” wrote Turlington on Instagram. “So many hopes and dreams for my firstborn are unfolding far sooner than I ever imagined.”

Kate Hudson’s firstborn Ryder, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Robinson, marked a special family milestone when he graduated from NYU — and as such, tons of his family attended the ceremony, including grandparents Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell (pictured), his dad and siblings.

“He’s graduating college in two weeks,” Hudson told Jimmy Fallon on April 23. “We realized, I think, and I could get this wrong and offend some generation in my family, but I think he’s the first person ever in my family history to graduate college.”

Chris Rock and his ex-wife Malaak Compton-Rock showed up to support daughter Zahra as she graduated from the University of Southern California on May 18. “Congratulations, Zahra!
