The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego in La Jolla hosted its annual fundraising gala, this year themed “Currents,” on Sept. 7 at the museum on Prospect Street.
Guests were treated to a cocktail hour, dinner and dancing, all while exploring the various galleries and artworks.
The event’s theme reflects that “contemporary art is a transformative force moving us to think and feel things in new ways, much as ocean currents direct the flow of water from one place to another,” according to MCASD. ♦
