The power couple revealed the bombshell news on social media, announcing their decision to tie the knot after months of speculation and growing public interest in their relationship.
In a joint Instagram post, the pop star shared the highlights of the fairy tale-like engagement.
The post featured Swift in a coordinated Ralph Lauren look as the Kansas City Chiefs star popped the question in a dreamy, flower-filled garden.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” she wrote.
The post sparked an outpouring of support and congratulatory messages from fans, Swifties, fellow celebrities and sports figures flooding social media with excitement.
Amid the wave of positive reactions, Stewart’s post caught the public’s attention.
On Instagram, she posted a montage featuring a photo of the couple during their engagement announcement and a video of her drinking from a champagne flute, where she said, “The nectar of the gods.”
Apart from her eye-catching post, the media personality and bestselling author extended an early bid to the couple.
“It’s time to call in the ultimate wedding planner,” she captioned the post.
