After selling their Franklin, Tennessee starter home for $2.7 million, the Babygirl star and Blue Ain’t Your Color singer set their sights on something far more impressive just 25 miles south: a $3.47 million estate in Nashville’s exclusive Northumberland gated community. Purchased in March 2008, the two-acre spread—grandly nicknamed the “Queen of Northumberland”—spans more than 10,000 square feet and houses seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a home theater, and a 30-foot hobby room. Elsewhere, the residence includes sprawling common areas, while the manicured grounds feature a tennis court and resort-style pool. The mansion long served as their primary residence, though after their separation, Urban himself reportedly acquired his own Nashville home nearby.

Just three months after securing Nashville, the duo added a West Coast address to their portfolio—a $4.7 million contemporary in the coveted Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood. Purchased in June 2008, the 4,000-square-foot residence sits on a leafy 1.25-acre parcel and features five bedrooms, four-and-a-quarter baths, and space for indoor-outdoor living. The stone-and-concrete facade, flat roofline, and wraparound second-story deck give it modern appeal, while patios, a cabana, and a swimming pool cement its quintessential California feel. During this period, Kidman was shooting Nine, and the couple often appeared at Hollywood premieres and charity galas. Neighbors have included Adele, Penélope Cruz, and Jennifer Lawrence, and while the property still appears to be in their portfolio, it made headlines in February 2025 after a high-profile burglary.

The same year they went on a U.S. buying spree, Kidman and Urban expanded their holdings back home with the purchase of Bunya Hill, a sprawling 110-acre farm in Sutton Forest, New South Wales. Reports vary on the exact price—some place it just over $4 million, others closer to $6.5 million—but the estate has long been considered one of the crown jewels of their portfolio. At its center stands a six-bedroom Georgian mansion built in 1878, complete with wide verandas, soaring ceilings, and multiple fireplaces that nod to its historic pedigree.

Kidman herself has offered rare glimpses inside the house, most memorably in her Vogue “73 Questions” video, which showcased a billiards room just off the main entry, a sun-drenched library with floor-to-ceiling shelves, and a living room warmed by a wood-burning hearth. The property also features a guest cottage, formal gardens, and rolling pastures dotted with livestock.

Shortly after, in 2009, the pair turned their attention to city living, dropping $4 million on a 4,521-square-foot penthouse in Sydney’s coveted Milsons Point neighborhood. With floor-to-ceiling glass framing sweeping views of the Harbour Bridge, the apartment embodies sleek urban minimalism. Think open-plan interiors, a crisp white kitchen with streamlined cabinetry, and sliding glass doors that blur the line between indoor and outdoor space. The unit also comes with access to a covered rooftop terrace, along with building amenities including a pool, spa, and gym.

The duo didn’t stop there. In 2011, they added a $1.8 million unit in the same 25-floor tower, followed a year later by a second penthouse purchased for $4.7 million, with the aim of combining the two into a sky-high mega-apartment. Their buying spree continued a decade later. In 2021, they snapped up a two-bedroom for $1.87 million; in 2022, a one-bedroom for roughly $909,000; and in 2023, a three-bedroom on the 15th floor for $5.2 million. Over time, the vertical compound has become less an address than a cosmopolitan counterpoint to their sprawling rural retreat at Bunya Hill.

Forget chauffeured drop-offs: At the Oscar and Grammy winner’s Chelsea pad, the car parks itself right outside the door. Well, almost. When the former couple snapped up a nearly $10 million apartment in Manhattan’s 200 Eleventh Avenue back in 2010, it wasn’t just the Hudson River views that made headlines. The building is famous for its “Sky Garage,” a James Bond–style car elevator that lifts vehicles straight to private parking bays on the 10th floor, mere steps from each residence. Their unit measures about 2,360 square feet and includes wall-to-wall glass, three bedrooms, two terraces, and a dramatic great room crowned by a 23-foot cathedral ceiling.

When New York City went into lockdown, the country star and his ex-wife went shopping—real estate shopping, that is. In 2020, the two picked up a $3.5 million pied-à-terre in Tribeca. Their apartment is housed in the landmarked McKim, Mead & White Clock Tower Building. The tower originally served as headquarters for New York Life Insurance and was crowned with a three-story clock that became its signature.

In 2018, award-winning hospitality design firm Jeffrey Beers International restored the historic property, creating 166 condominium residences. The duo’s two-bedroom unit features three separate entrances—perfect for avoiding paparazzi—as well as soaring ceilings, wide-plank oak floors, and arched windows that flood the space with natural light. Building amenities include a pool, rooftop, hot tub, gym, and media room.

Across the Atlantic, Kidman has been quietly expanding her European footprint. In 2025, she applied for a residency permit in Portugal, sparking rumors that she and Urban were eyeing a property in one of the country’s most exclusive enclaves: the CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, which sits approximately an hour south of Lisbon. The gated community has attracted high-profile residents, including George Clooney, Paris Hilton, Princess Eugenie, and even Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The couple reportedly spent over $4.7 million on one of the lavish residences in the 722-acre development, which is still under construction. “While Nicole and Keith own a home in Portugal, their primary residence will continue to be in Nashville,” a source told The New York Post at the time. Given their recent split, though, the question now is whether this European escape will be a shared retreat—or just another point on the property map in the great divorce shuffle.
