Champions returning and tournament format in Celebrity Jeopardy! All Stars
The upcoming season of Celebrity Jeopardy! All Stars centers on the return of three previous winners who will compete for another title. Ike Barinholtz, who won the first season, reflected on returning to the competition and said,
“I feel like a guinea pig a little bit, but I like guinea pigs, they’re adorable, like me. But yeah, it’s an honor to be here.”
Lisa Ann Walter, the season two winner, previously spoke about her victory and said, “I’m going to be buried in [my Jeopardy! trophy], it’s my urn.” W. Kamau Bell, who won season three, also returns after sharing his reaction to winning.
The three champions will not play in the quarterfinals and will enter directly in the semifinals according to ABC. The structure includes multiple rounds where contestants compete to advance based on scores.
The tournament brings back finalists and contestants who have appeared in earlier seasons, creating rematches among players who have competed before.
The show continues its format of question rounds followed by Final Jeopardy, with cumulative scores determining who moves forward. Each episode will feature different matchups until the finalists are decided.
