A Celebrity Big Brother star and huge Hollywood actor is reportedly facing eviction from his LA home months after his controversial appearance on the UK reality show
Months after being booted from the Celebrity Big Brother House, a former housemate is facing eviction again – this time from their rented property, according to reports.
Mickey Rourke is reportedly facing eviction after falling almost £44,000 behind in rent on his Los Angeles home. The 73-year-old star of films like Sin City, Man on Fire and Iron Man 2 is said to have been renting the three-bedroom Spanish-style bungalow just south of West Hollywood since April 2025.
But according to reports the actor, who won a BAFTA and a Golden Globe award for his portrayal of professional wrestler Randy ‘The Ram’ Robinson in the 2008 movie The Wrestler, is accused of not paying rent and an eviction notice has now reportedly been posted on the outside of the house ordering him to pay the overdue rent within three days or vacate the premises.
It’s thought the notice was posted before Christmas on December 18 and hasn’t been complied with, so the case brought by the landlord, named as Eric Goldie, is now likely to go to court.

It comes after Mickey was kicked out the Celebrity Big Brother house in the UK earlier this year for ‘use of inappropriate language’ and ‘instances of unacceptable behaviour’.
This included using ‘sexual language’ in conversation with The Only Way Is Essex’s Ella Rae Wise. More than 1,000 complaints were made after Mickey also made for upsetting and homophobic remarks to reality star JoJo Siwa. He told the Dance Moms star: “If I stay longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore.”
He also told the singer he would tie her up and later vowed to “vote out the lesbian”, before being confronted by JoJo who slammed the star for being homophobic.
After less than a week in the Big Brother house Mickey was given his marching orders by ITV bosses over his controversial behaviour, which clearly made some of his housemates feel uncomfortable. It is understood that following the offensive remarks there were further incidents involving Mickey, with the final straw coming after he locked horns with Love Island‘s Chris Hughes during a task.
Although the altercation didn’t become physical, a disagreement between the pair led to behaviour and language deemed threatening and aggressive, leaving CBB with no choice other than to ask Rourke to leave the house.
Mickey’s removal reportedly left the actor short of cash as his rumoured £500,000 fee for appearing on the show was slashed. A source told The Sun at the time: “If a celebrity gets removed from the house, they don’t get the full fee. It’s as simple as that and they will be discussing that with him. Mickey was ready to leave the house and it ended up feeling like a mutual decision between him and ITV in the end. It was getting too much.”
Back in April when the show aired, an ITV spokesperson released a statement on their decision and said: “Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour.”
Mickey later issued an apology, stating: “I stepped over the line and I take responsibility for doing the wrong thing. ‘Cause I lost my temper, and I’ve been trying to work on it my whole life and I wish I would have had better self-control and I’m very sorry.” He added: “I’m ashamed of myself for losing it for a few seconds there. Nobody got touched or hurt. Maybe some feelings got hurt, or maybe others have feelings about others getting upset, but you know, I’m sorry about that.”
After fleeing the UK following his controversial TV stint, Mickey has been keeping a low profile. But in August he looked unrecognisable as he was pictured with grey hair as he opened the door to take a food delivery. His Beverly Hills home reportedly had an overgrown garden with dead vines and a run-down front door.
