Officials have released the cause of death for celebrity chef Anne Burrell.The New York Office of the Chief Medical Examiner listed her cause of death as “acute intoxication due to the combined effects of diphenhydramine, ethanol, cetirizine, and amphetamine,” The New York Times reported. The newspaper explained that there was an interaction between alcohol, amphetamine, diphenhydramine and cetirizine. The last two medications are over-the-counter antihistamines sold under the names of Benadryl and Zyrtec. The office ruled her death a suicide, the Times reported.
