Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski are splitting after nine years of marriage.

They confirmed the news in a statement to People Tuesday.

“We have been separated for a while, and it’s proven to be the right move for us and our family unit. We’ve got each other forever — and it’s GOOD,” they shared.

Page Six has reached out to their reps for comment.

Shortly before the news of their split broke, Seyfried, 40, shared a photo of Sadoski, 50, to her Instagram Stories in which he posed with her bearded dragon, Romeo.

“@thomassadoski is #reptiledad,” she captioned the image.

Seyfried also posted a cryptic quote to her Instagram Stories which read: “There’s really not a difficult thing unless you decide it’s a difficult thing. Otherwise, it’s just the next thing you’re figuring out.”

Sadoski revealed during a March 2017 appearance on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” that he and Seyfried had eloped.

“We just took off into the country with an officiant and just the two of us, and we did our thing.”

He added, “Listen, she’s the person I love, admire, respect most in the world.”

The pair first met in 2015, when they starred together in the off-Broadway play “The Way We Get By.” They also co-starred in the 2017 film “The Last Word.”

Back in November 2025, the “Mamma Mia!” star admitted it was “really hard” to balance raising their two children — daughter Nina, 9, and son Thomas, 5 — with her acting career.

“This is the most I’ve ever worked with two kids, and I’ve never had two movies come out at the same time,” she told Us Weekly, referring to her 2025 films “The Housemaid” and “The Testament of Ann Lee.”

She added, “And so, I’m a little bit bananas right now.”

In January, she acknowledged that the “John Wick” star “sacrifices a lot” for her in a Vogue interview.

“He also knows that, in this moment, the opportunities I’m being afforded are insane,” she said of the roles being offered to her.

“I do say no a lot,” she added.

Seyfried is Sadoski’s second wife. He was previously married to casting director Kimberly Hope, but they split in October 2015 after eight years of marriage. Sadoski is Seyfried’s first husband.
