Cristiano Ronaldo’s garage is packed with some of the world’s most exclusive cars, but the soccer legend says his multimillion-dollar collection isn’t about driving pleasure anymore — it’s about investment.
In a recent interview, the Al-Nassr forward explained that his fleet of luxury vehicles, which includes numerous Bugattis and other supercars, serves more as a long-term financial asset than a means of transportation. He compared the cars to fine art or collectibles, saying their value lies in rarity and preservation rather than performance on the road.
Ronaldo admitted he no longer keeps count of how many vehicles he owns, estimating the number could be around 40. Many of them are among the most coveted and expensive models ever built, including multiple Bugattis, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Rolls-Royces. Still, despite his reputation for speed and precision on the field, the Portuguese superstar said he rarely gets behind the wheel anymore.
He noted that his passion for cars has faded over time and that most of his prized vehicles sit untouched in his garages across Europe and the Middle East. When he was recently in Madrid, he said he didn’t even check whether his cars were still there. For Ronaldo, their appeal now lies in their investment potential rather than their driving experience.
That’s not to say he never drives — he occasionally takes the wheel, though not often in Saudi Arabia, where he currently plays for Al-Nassr. He reportedly avoids local roads due to heavy traffic, preferring to let his collection appreciate quietly in storage.
Ronaldo’s remarks offer a glimpse into the lifestyle of one of the world’s most famous athletes — a man whose fortune and focus have transformed even his garage into a portfolio of high-performance investments.
