Princess Kate Middleton will host her fifth annual Together at Christmas carol concert in December 2025.
The Princess of Wales will be joined by a slew of celebrities at the historic Westminster Abbey in London for a multifaith service that honors a variety of holiday traditions. The event will celebrate “The Power of Love and Togetherness” and recognize people who contribute to British society across a wide range of fields.
As always, Kate and her husband, Prince William, are expected to attend the Together at Christmas event with their three children: Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.
The 1,600-person guest list will feature people nominated by lord-lieutenants across the U.K. and charities that are patronized by the royal family, according to BBC News. Festive carols and scripture readings will be delivered throughout the service by celebrity guests and the Westminster Abbey choir. A tribute to the late Katharine, the Duchess of Kent, is also being planned following her death at 92 in September 2005.

The Together at Christmas 2025 carol concert will be held at the historic Westminster Abbey, which is located in Westminster, England. The church has been the home of at least 16 royal weddings since its construction in 959 B.C.
The venue is particularly special for Kate and William because their wedding took place there in April 2011.
Westminster Abbey has also hosted numerous solemn occasions for the royal family, including Princess Diana’s 1997 memorial and Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral in September 2022.

Kate Winslet, Hannah Waddingham, Dan Smith and Chiwetel Ejiofor have all been confirmed as celebrity attendees for Together at Christmas 2025.
Winslet will be appearing as the newest ambassador for King Charles III’s charity The King’s Foundation, which has been involved in hundreds of eco-friendly construction projects since its founding in 1990 — most notably the rebuilding of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool.

Celebrity guests at Together at Christmas typically take part in choral singing and read passages from scripture throughout the service.

Kate will deliver a speech about “The Power of Love and Togetherness” during Together at Christmas 2025. The princess’s comments will celebrate the ways people across the U.K. have contributed to British society throughout the year.
“This year, the Service will bring people together to celebrate love in all its forms — whether it’s love within families, through friendships, across communities or even through powerful moments of connection with strangers. In a world that can often feel fragmented and disconnected, love is the force that reconnects us all – spanning generations, communities, cultures and faiths,” a statement read.
The Princess of Wales has delivered Together at Christmas speeches on similar subjects in previous years. In 2024, her theme was “Love Not Fear,” as she encouraged people across the world to reflect on what brings them together.

“It is when we stop, and take ourselves away from the pressures of daily life, that we find a space to live our lives with an open heart. With love, kindness and forgiveness — so much of what the Christmas spirit is all about,” she explained in 2024. “The Christmas story encourages us to consider the experiences and feelings of others.”
Kate also acknowledged that Christmas was a time to reassess “our own vulnerabilities” following her diagnosis with an unspecified form of cancer earlier that year. Her father-in-law, Charles, was also diagnosed with cancer in 2024.
“The love that we show ourselves and the love we show others. Love that listens with empathy, love that is kind and understanding, love that is forgiving, and love that brings joy and hope,” she added. “It is love which is the greatest gift we can receive, not just at Christmas but every day of our lives.”

The Westminster Abbey ceremony will coincide with 15 other carol services taking place throughout the U.K. based around the unifying theme of “The Power of Love and Togetherness.”
BBC News reported that the ceremony will feature a festive display by horticulturist Jamie Butterworth that commemorates the importance of nature in our lives.
Handmade wreaths made by schoolchildren through the U.K. will be donated by the Royal Horticultural Society for Together at Christmas.
