PEOPLE has an exclusive first look at the New York City cultural institution and community center’s list of fall events. Launched in 1874, 92NY is known for being a pillar “where people all over the world connect through culture, arts, entertainment and conversation [welcoming] luminaries from the worlds of news, politics, fashion, film, TV and more,” per a statement from the institution.
Some of the celebrity events include talks with Charlie Sheen in promotion of his upcoming memoir The Book of Sheen (Sept. 8), as well as Emma Heming Willis in conversation with actress Tracy Pollan, for Willis’ book The Unexpected Journey (Sept. 9).

“Our fall lineup aims to explore the power of language and the magic of storytelling through a variety of genres and mediums — acclaimed and highly-anticipated novels, inimitable poetry, iconic food writing, music and cinema,” said Lucas Wittmann, Executive Director of 92NY’s Unterberg Poetry Center, in a statement.
“It’s kaleidoscopic in nature, in keeping with a longstanding 92NY tradition to touch on and make connections between different artistic disciplines — and yet each event is, above all else, an homage to the written word and its profound importance in our lives.”
