Celebrity chef Robert Irvine is set to make appearances in Erie on Sept. 10 and Sept. 11 to represent the Robert Irvine Foundation.
On Sept. 11, two notable events associated with the Robert Irvine Foundation will be taking place in Erie. The foundation held similar events in Erie last year.
Before these two events, Irvine will be in town Sept. 10 at Fine Wine and Good Spirits at 2501 W. 12th St. signing his branded bottles.
Hero Days, which will take place on Sept. 11 and benefit the foundation, will recognize the service and sacrifice of community heroes with both a golf tournament and free concert which includes a multi-platinum-selling national recording act. Irvine will be at Fine Wine and Good Spirits at 2501 W. 12th St. signing bottles.
The Robert Irvine Foundation, according to its website, supports and strengthens the physical and mental well-being of service members, veterans, first responders and their families.

Irvine to stop at Fine Wine and Good Spirits to sign bottles
On Sept. 10 at 3 p.m. at the Fine Wine and Good Spirits in the Yorktown Centre, Irvine will be signing bottles of his Irvine Spirits including his gin, vodka and espresso martini cans.
Customers ages 21 and older can sample each of these drinks and have Irvine sign them after purchase.

Kicking off Hero Days with a golf classic
The first Irvine event Sept. 11 begins at 7:30 a.m. at Whispering Woods Golf course, 7214 Grubb Road, with the Hero Days Golf Classic benefiting the Robert Irvine Foundation.
The event starts with breakfast before the tournament kicks off in shotgun formation at 9 a.m. and will continue until 1 p.m. where it will conclude with cocktails, lunch and awards.

Hero Days concert night features O.A.R. at Liberty Park
Hero Days continues at 5 p.m. in Liberty Park at 828 W. Bayfront Parkway for a free concert benefiting the Robert Irvine Foundation. The evening will honor and support veterans, active duty service members and first responders.
Gates open at 5 p.m. and the music begins at 5:30 p.m.
American rock band O.A.R. will headline the concert following a feature act by Daytona Beach 2000. O.A.R. is an American rock band founded in 1996 who have recorded 10 studio albums and five live albums while selling out Madison Square Garden in 2006.

The night will be filled with military tributes, including a flyover during the national anthem, an Army ROTC push-up-athon fundraiser, military displays and local vendors with food and beer for purchase.
The concert is open to the public.
