ABC news anchor Liz Cho and her estranged husband, Josh Elliott, are set to hash out their ongoing divorce issues in a private arbitration.

In court papers obtained by Page Six, the exes agreed “voluntarily and without coercion” to resolve their divorce matters in arbitration, which is when a non-biased third party listens to both sides and makes a binding agreement.

The issues include ruling on the divorce, deciding alimony, division of property and determining counsel and expert fees.

The arbitration will also handle unresolved claims and discovery, which is evidence, in their divorce.

The parties agreed for Connecticut Judge Elliot N. Solomon to be their arbitrator. He will have the authority to find the parties in contempt of court, which means to disobey a judge’s order and often results in a fine, if needed.

The arbitration will take place in October 2026 and the judge will issue a decision no later than 30 days after the meeting. The exes agreed a record or recording of the meeting “shall not be required.”

Lawyers for Cho and Elliott did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Daily Mail was the first to report on the arbitration.

Page Six exclusively revealed Elliott, 55, filed for divorce from Cho, 55, on June 20, 2025, after nearly 10 years of marriage.

The divorce started out contentious, as the “Eyewitness News” anchor requested copies of Elliott’s communication with “any person … with whom [he] has or has had a romantic and/or sexual relationship, from July 11, 2015, to the present” — as well as any “communications in connection with [his] search for any employment,” in a Nov. 6, 2025, court filing.

In a Jan. 29 court filing, Cho claimed Elliott moved a “significant amount of furniture and furnishings” from their Connecticut home, as well as their two Portuguese water dogs.

She also claimed she was “missing a valuable watch and earrings from her jewelry bag” and that her ex was “the only other person who had access to the missing watch and jewelry.”

Elliott’s lawyers denied Cho’s allegations in court papers, writing, “[Elliott] did not ransack the marital home. … He removed limited personal property and furnishings so he would have a safe haven from [Cho’s] escalating and erratic behavior directed at not only [Elliott] but his minor child as well.” He also denied the jewelry claims.

He added in a separate filing, “[Elliott] removed only limited furniture items and furnishings, many from the basement, solely to furnish a new residence after removing himself and his child from a hostile environment created by [Cho].”

Elliott fired back by accusing her in court documents of “monitoring and listening to [Elliott’s] private phone calls; rifling through [Elliott’s] personal belongings and closet; leaving the marital residence for extended periods without communication despite the presence of two dogs requiring daily care.”

Elliott also claimed Cho “lashed out” at him while he was “washing grapes for his daughter’s lunch, exclaiming that the grapes were hers and he was not permitted to put them in the child’s lunch.”

Also in the documents, he accused his ex of “locking doors and shutting off lights on [his] teenage daughter in the evening when it was 14 degrees outside.”

In August, Cho filed a motion for a protection order to prevent Elliott’s legal team from conducting a deposition of the news anchor scheduled for July 23, 2026.

“The deposition was noticed without any inquiry as to the availability of [Cho] and her counsel,” her request read.

Also in the protective order request, the anchor objected to Elliott’s legal team requesting she provide a series of documents, including “copies of any written correspondence, emails, cards, text messages, or any written forms of communication between you and any person, other than the Plaintiff, with whom you have or have had a romantic and/or sexual relationship from July 11, 2015 to June 23, 2025.”

Despite Cho objecting to the request for production, Daily Mail reported she agreed to hand over any communications at a July 24 virtual court hearing.

The two met while working for ABC and got married in July 2015. This is the second marriage for both.

Elliott worked on “Good Morning America” from 2011 to 2014. He went on to work for NBC and CBSN for brief stints.

Cho remains an anchor for “Eyewitness News.”
