UK punk band Lambrini Girls are back with a new single, “Cult of Celebrity.”
The blaring new track from the duo of Phoebe Lunny (vocals/guitar) and Selin Macieira (bass) sees our 2025 Rookie of the Year attacking what it means to be famous. It’s a five-alarm warning for what to expect when your face is instantly recognized anywhere you go.

Mentions of having life drained from your eyes, dealing with Harvey Weinstein, and even killing your friends come fast and furious as the screaming vocals and roaring guitars envelop the track’s darkness in waves of fire.
Speaking about the track in a press release, Lambrini Girls said, “The age old tale of selling your soul to the devil has been fabled accounts of high society for years. However due to recent events coming to light — it turns out that the elite are very much actually, the devil incarnate, baby eating, pedos. What a fucking surprise! They had no souls to sell in the first place.”
